Max & Friends
Before Moai and Max (me) started to get very serious, I took him on vacation with Sam, a guy I'd had a little mutual crush with, and his friend Castiel. After that, Moai went on vacation alone. Sam still goes back/forth on interest in Max and is interested in being friends with Moai, but Moai has NO INTEREST in Sam's friendship.
About halfway through the month, I'd been dating Moai for 12 days. It was my longest relationship (the previous one with Bucky only lasted 7 days). This is also the first (and still only) marriage on the island.
I had many outfit changes this month, most of which I didn't like.
Ashley & Baby Grandpa started living together and tried cooking together once. It didn't work out.
There were a few times this month I had enough money to mass purchase a bunch of interior sets so I was able to give residents some nicer homes.
I made another IRL friend and also finally unlocked the space tour. Just waiting for more seasonal items to appear!
Golden Girls & Golden Palace
In May I finished my watching of Golden Girls and started watching Golden Palace. I made Roland and Chuy from Golden palace, but I'm still watching the show and getting a better sense of who they are as characters.
It's been hard to pinpoint outfits for the girls so I took some of the loading screen Mii advice and did some personality-driven exaggeration. Plus you can give them all some of the more silly outfits, especially Blanche. They wore costumes all the time in those shows!
I had this one on Rose for a while before I finally gave her fashionista to change her outfits and now they all have it. I don't give it to all the Miis though.
From Golden Palace I made Roland as "Ronald" - Blanche calls him "Roland" instead of the reverse which is in the show. Dumb joke but it's because I mishear it in the show all the time. I made him and Chuy a few days ago, they're still meeting people.
Supernatural
In May I also finished the final (15th!) season of Supernatural, which means I immediately ran out of ideas for expressions and have to try to look up things. It's much easier forming characters when you're actively watching the thing and can grab catch phrases or quotes from the show.
For Supernatural characters, in my imagination it's an episode of Supernatural where they're either stuck in an alternate universe or it's an alternative universe version of them - either way they think that they're stuck there because I'm Gabriel - "the Trickster" - who is trapping them there for some reason or another. I loved the Gabriel episodes, and the fan convention ones, it felt like they had a lot of fun making those. Except whether or not I'm Gabriel doesn't matter, they still get stuck in the weird awareness that sometimes they compliment me, or they're in this semi-scripted, weirdly run universe. So far they're just becoming aware of where they are, no devices on how to get out or why they're there.
However, the Golden Girls had a chat once about how the island is built on ancient burial grounds that grant immortality, so there might be something there. No one has told Dean, Sam, or Castiel yet.
Well, all manner of spooky things happen on the island for them to investigate or run around in circles with.
They get to eat a lot of good food at least.
Though it still kind of feels weirdly simulated.
Spooky Characters
Michael Myers from Halloween and Sally from Nightmare Before Christmas had a back-and-forth crush for a bit, but Sally was also into Bucky Barnes (Winter Soldier) and chose him which caused a little tiff with Michael that lasted a bit. While that was happening, Sophia from Golden Girls had a huge thing for Michael, but he got to know a side of Rose he'd never seen in a woman before and fell for that instead.
I tried to make a Babadook, I'll be honest it was a lazy attempt. I really love whatever this is though.
Hunting Monsters
We all love hunting monsters on Duck and it means a different thing to everyone who says it: Monster Hunter, the video game. Hunting monsters like Supernatural characters did as hunters. D&D. Saving people from mischievous spirits.
